Whatever the amount, all donations are welcome to help for
the new Samlo Khangtsen construction
Monk sponsoring
185 €/year for a monk
to provide his daily needs
(medical care, clothing, food, accommodation and teachings expenses).
The prayer hall is located
in a very tiny room
200 m from the main buiding,
the small kitchen is unhygienic
The rooms all completly unhealthy
Hundreds of monks lived in
its different khangtsen or buildings.
One called Samlo Khangtsenhad
many famous scholars and has been under
Lama Tsong Kha Pa's protection.
In 1959, the Chinese communist troops
destroyed this monastic university.
The original monks from Tibet's Samlo khangtsen
had great difficulty in re-establishing the new Samlo Khangtsen.
Most of them are very old and some passed away during the course of time.
Due to the Chinese oppression and the quota in the monasteries,
the increasing number of monks coming fromTibet needs more rooms.
